Hi. My name is Emily Genende. I am 23 years old. I live in New York City. I enjoy excessive consumption of alcoholic beverages, shopping, going on Facebook, and yoga. My main concerns in life are where to go on Friday night, what to wear on Friday night, and what to eat for dinner on Friday night. Why would I care about the Arab-Israeli conflict? What does this have anything to do with me? Why should I care about what goes on in the Middle East? If you are someone like me, who lives their lives thinking the Arab-Israeli conflict has nothing to do with your life, then this blog is for you.
Ignorance is dangerous. Knowing nothing about what is going on in your world is harmful. If you are doing nothing, you are part of the problem. Knowledge and awareness is what I am trying to bring to the twenty-somethings out there who don’t give a crap, and need to.
